Description

Its key working principle is based on the “semipermeable membrane” property, and its specific functions can be broken down into:

• Impurity interception: Removes visible or tiny solid impurities in water, such as sediment, rust, colloids, and suspended solids.
• Ion filtration: Efficiently retains metal ions like calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium, as well as anions such as chloride and sulfate ions. It can reduce water hardness (water softening) or be used for seawater/brackish water desalination.
• Microorganism removal: Blocks microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, and algae to prevent biological contamination of water.
• Organic matter separation: Filters part of the organic matter, pesticide residues, and heavy metal ions (such as lead, mercury, arsenic, etc.) in water, improving water safety.

It is widely used in scenarios such as household water purifiers, industrial pure water preparation, seawater desalination, and sewage treatment.
